Steps to make reservation

1 General Information
These steps form part of the rental contract for the Art-BaiYun Association
residences.
The following rules are required in order to maintain the quality standards of the Residence :
- Reservations should be made using the reservation form.
- Reservations for more than two people will not be accepted.
- The "Edward Suite" is a non-smoking area and is also not designed to accommodate pets.
- The daily tourist tax for Zermatt is collected during the check-in.
- Availability can be viewed (below the apartment photos, on the right).
- Housekeeping arrangements are the responsibility of the Art-BaiYun Association.

2 Minimum stay - Check-in - Check-out
- Length of stay: minimum 4 nights,
- Check-in is at 4:00 PM (payment of tourism taxes, key collection, etc.)
- Check-out is at 10:00 AM (visit of the premises and handing over the keys).
Luggage can be dropped off a few hours before check-in. To benefit from this, it is important that we are notified, well in advance, of the exact planned time of arrival in Zermatt.

3. Reservations - Rentals - Payment
- Deposit: Due 60 days before the arrival date indicated on the contract. For reservations made
more than a year in advance, the deposit should be paid no less than 4 months before the arrival date.
- Balance payment: Due 30 days before the arrival date.
- Bank details: These are specified on the rental contract.
- When multiple reservations are made for the same period, priority will be given to the first person to pay the deposit.

In the event of non-compliance with the payment conditions, the reservation will be cancelled.
The deposit paid will be refunded, provided that the "Edward Suite" can be re-let.

4. Damages Security Deposit
A deposit of CHF 1,000.00 (one thousand francs) will be required on arrival.
Guests with a certificate of insurance covering damages which may be incurred during their stay
will not be required to pay the security deposit.

Any changes to these conditions require the approval of the Art-BaiYun Association.

  • Art-BaiYun is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to stimulate intercultural exchanges between artists with the aim to contribute, in the mutual respect, to a better understanding between people.

Its resources come primarily from the residencies and the sale of paintings and calligraphies.
